Abstract: The hog breeding industry constitutes a vital component of China's agricultural sector and is indispensable to the nation's economic and social development. Amid ongoing economic progress，the industry has entered a phase of rapid development，steadily transitioning towards large?scale and intensive production models. Breeding technologies have been continuously refined，and the level of intelligence and modernization has significantly improved. However，the practical challenge of the“ hog cycle ”continues to constrain the sector's growth。。Focusing on the exertion of the“dual roles”of the government and the market，this paper conducts research on the cyclical fluctuations of hog prices，analyzes the causes and negative effects of the“ hog cycle ”，and puts forward targeted suggestions from multiple dimensions. These including improving the regulatory mechanism for hog production capacity，reducing the inventory of breeding sows，lowering the average market weight of hogs，promoting industrial transformation and upgrading，strengthening disease prevention and control，establishing breeding relief funds，and advancing price futures insurance. It aims to explore new paths，help the hog industry break through the“cycle dilemma”，and achieve high?quality development.

摘要： 生猪养殖业作为中国农业产业的关键构成，在经济社会发展中扮演着不可或缺的角色。随着经济的持续进步，中国生猪养殖业步入快速发展阶段，朝着规模化、集约化模式稳步迈进，养殖技术不断优化，智能化与现代化水平显著提升。然而，“猪周期”这一现实挑战依旧在一定程度上制约着生猪产业的发展。该文聚焦于政府与市场“双重作用”的发挥，围绕生猪价格的周期性波动展开研究，剖析“猪周期”的形成原因及负面效应，从完善生猪产能产业的调控机制，调减能繁母猪存栏量，降低出栏商品猪均重，推动产业转型升级、强化疫病防控、设立养殖纾困基金、推进价格期货保险等维度提出针对性建议，旨在探索新路径，助力生猪产业突破“周期困境”，实现高质量发展。
