This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the pig production sector in Lianjiang City， Guangdong Province，based on extensive field surveys and data collection. The report underscores the strategic importance of the local pig industry for regional economic development and supply security. It examines the current status of the industry in terms of scale，structure，key stakeholders，and value chain configuration，and identifies four critical challenges：disease outbreaks，environmental constraints，price volatility，rising production costs，and uneven development across the industry chain. Drawing on domestic and international best practices and local farming experience，the report proposes recommendations that including strengthening biosecurity systems，promoting green and circular agriculture，optimizing production capacity management and market risk mitigation，improving the industrial value chain to enhance brand value，and reinforcing policy and resource support.
