石岐鸽与美国王鸽的抗氧化能力、乳鸽胸肌肌纤维形态比较分析

Comparison on Antioxidant Capacity and Pectoral Myofiber Morphology of Squabs between Shiqi Pigeons and American King Pigeons

摘要: 该文探究了石岐鸽与美国王鸽的种鸽和乳鸽机体抗氧化能力以及乳鸽胸肌形态学差异。研究对象为石岐鸽和美国王鸽的52周龄种鸽及21日龄乳鸽。测定种鸽血浆、肝脏、嗉囊以及乳鸽血浆、胸肌的氧化应激指标,并测量乳鸽胸肌的肌纤维面积和直径。结果显示:1)石岐鸽和美国王鸽种鸽和乳鸽血浆的总超氧化物氧化酶(T?SOD)、过氧化氢酶(CAT)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH?Px)活性和过氧化氢(H2O2)含量、丙二醛(MDA)含量无显著差异(P>0.05)。2)石岐鸽种鸽肝脏和嗉囊的H2O2含量显著低于美国王鸽种鸽(P<0.05),石岐鸽种鸽肝脏的MDA含量显著低于美国王鸽种鸽(P<0.05)。3)石岐鸽乳鸽胸肌肌纤维面积和直径显著小于美国王鸽乳鸽(P<0.01)。4)石岐鸽乳鸽胸肌的H2O2含量极显著高于美国王鸽(P<0.01)。综上,石岐鸽种鸽表现出更强的抗氧化能力,石岐鸽乳鸽胸肌肉质更紧密,美国王鸽乳鸽表现出更高的抗氧化能力和胸肌发育能力。

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the differences in systemic antioxidant capacity and pectoral muscle morphology between Shiqi pigeons and White King pigeons. Fifty?two?week?old breeding pigeons and 21?day?old squabs from both breeds were used as experimental subjects. Oxidative stress parameters were measured in the plasma,liver,and crop of the breeding pigeons,as well as in the plasma and pectoral muscle of the squabs. Additionally,the fiber cross?sectional area and diameter of the squabs' pectoral muscle were analyzed. The results are as follows∶1)There were no significant differences in the activities of total superoxide dismutase(T?SOD),catalase (CAT),and glutathione peroxidase (GSH ? Px),as well as the contents of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde(MDA)in the plasma of Shiqi and White King breeding pigeons and squabs(P>0.05). 2)The H2O2 content in the liver and crop of Shiqi breeding pigeons was significantly lower than that of White King breeding pigeons (P<0.05),and the MDA content in the liver of Shiqi breeding pigeons was lower than that of White King breeding pigeons(P<0.05). 3)The muscle fiber area and diameter in the pectoral muscle of Shiqi squabs were significantly smaller than those of White King squabs(P<0.01). 4)The H2O2 content in the pectoral muscle of Shiqi squabs was significantly higher than that of White King squabs(P<0.01). In summary,the breeding Shiqi pigeons exhibited stronger systemic antioxidant capacity,and their squabs possessed pectoral muscles with a tighter texture. Conversely, the White King squabs demonstrated superior antioxidant capacity and greater potential for pectoral muscle development. This study provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the selective breeding of novel meat pigeon strains,the enhancement of stress resistance,and the optimization of meat quality.
